Roving Surgries

ROVING

SURGERIES

Your Labour Party Team has been busy with its Roving Surgeries. We have recently visited Vere Road, Cecil Road, Northfield Road, Queen’s Drive West, All Saints’ Road, Reeves Way, Broad Close, Prince’s Street, St Mary’s Close, Princes Gardens and Brownlow Road.

Residents raised many issues with us which we are taking up with the Council and Emergency Services. A serious issue we are dealing with is the width of clear road at the junction of Dogsthorpe and All Saints’ Roads.

Residents are concerned that the Council has not left sufficient space for a fire tender to drive between parked vehicles. We have taken this up with the Fire Service.

We have also acted for residents in Princes Street and Regents Court who object to a nearby car park being used for prostitution and drug taking.

Surgeries will continue throughout the year.
