PM Speech

Gordon brown has today set out Labours plan to take Britain into economic renewed growth where finance works for the majority of hard working people on modest and middle incomes. Labours approach is good for Britain and will be welcomed by business and the residents who want to se Peterborough grow the right way.

This is the best conference speech I have heard from Gordon who has set out the difference between the progressive vision of labour and the Conservatives opposition who have chosen cuts and tax breaks for the rich as opposed to greater help for the low waged and Pensioners. Peterborough like Britain needs wise investment in front line services and our people needs support as we come out of the credit crunch. The Conservatives would offer only cuts not because they have to but because they want to.

“I am delighted that the PM has promised the restoration of the link between pensions and earnings and guaranteed an increase in the minimum wage, an international commitment to work for reductions in nuclear weapons and peace in Palestine and the Middle East
