Euro Result -Labour came behind Tories and Ukip in Peterborough, the BNP got 300 more votes than at the last euro elections and the Green vote was up by 800 the largest % increase of any party on last time - but they failed to overtake the BNP.

Tories down to 11618

Ukip 7557

Labour 5382

Lib dems 3704

BNP 2763

Green 2501

On the 65th aniversary of the D-Day landings......

To the people who voted BNP: behind the suits, PR & spin still lies a core following of fascist criminals. However angry you may be over the expenses abuses and need for Labour to communicate better and deliver more - Your vote has insulted the many men and women who laid down their lives to free Europe of Fascism.

Shame on you all!

The total vote was down by over 6000 on the last euro election which was held on the same day as council elections.

In the Peterborough Constituency 4000 people are not registerd to vote, I am out every week encouraging people to register now.
