Since last June I have emailed Fiona Onasanyu 3 times but have yet to get a single response (not even an acknowledgement). How can I get a reply in relation to assisted dying? There is a meeting for M.P’s next week.

Good morning Fiona,

I hope that you are well.

Firstly, many congratulations on being elected as MP for Peterborough.

My name is Jon Reeves and I work in the Communications team at a Longhurst Group – a housing association based in the Midlands and East of England.

We have stock in Peterborough and recently agreed a merger with Peterborough-based Axiom Housing.

Axiom join our Group on July 3rd and the first new development we are working on with them starts on site on July 10th.

We would like to invite you to meet our Executive Director of Portfolio Investment, Ian Jackson, to discuss our development plans and ambitions for providing high-quality in the housing in the area.

Ian is based from Axiom’s office in Peterborough and would like to invite you to the office at a date that suits you.

We would also like to invite you to a photo opportunity taking place at the site of our first development with Axiom. It’s on the location of the former Bretton Woods school, which has been an abandoned site since its closure in 2007.

We’ll be providing 20 new homes which will hopefully help regenerate the area. The development has also received funding from the HCA.

We’re looking to hold a photo opportunity for this site at some point in July.

If you had any availability, I wonder if we could arrange for you to meet Ian and then attend the photo opportunity on the same day?

Many thanks and kind regards,

Dear colleague,

My name is Jerry Weber and I am the chair of Warwick & Leamington CLP. I was also the agent for Matt Western at the General Election in June where we pulled off a remarkable victory and overturned a Tory majority of 6,500.

I am standing as a non-aligned and independent candidate for one of the CLP places on the NEC.

I am standing because I am very concerned about the continuing rift and discord within the Party. It really is time we put our differences behind us and started to build a party to offer the electorate a real alternative. The Party needs reforming. I will be committed to open processes and transparency in dealing with difficult issues such as suspensions and expulsion from the Party.

I hope that you will be holding a nomination meeting and that you will support me and give an independent voice a chance to be on the ballot paper. Although I am a member of the Co-operative Party, I am not aligned to any other group. I believe that CLP representatives on the NEC need to be independent and not dependent on groups such as Momentum and Progress.

The NEC is our key body that directs the future of the Party. If elected, I will listen to members not factions within the Party.

Check out my flyer on Facebook

I look forward to your support.

Best wishes

Jerry Weber

To whom it may concern,

My name is Paul Clarkson. I am a member of the Labour party and in the Newnham ward in Cambridge. I am writing to see if your CLP has made its nominations yet for the additional NEC candidates.

I am also writing to ask if your CLP would nominate me. I am Chair of my ward, a delegate at GC and the European member of the Executive Committee.

My platform is on economic recovery by diversifying the economy away from purely financial services and into a new industrial drive on science and engineering, particularly using universities as growth centres. I used to work for Rolls-Royce and I am just about to complete a PhD in physics, chemistry and electronic engineering.

I have spent time working with the Civil Service and the Royal Academy of Engineers and I am an advocate of policy development in these areas. I also champion education and health reform.

I am also a writer in the entertainment industry and currently working on the BBC/HBO adaptation of Phillip Pullman’s Dark Materials trilogy (Northern Lights, Subtle Knife and Amber Spyglass).

I will be completing supporting material this weekend (video and a side of A4) and I’m happy to take phone calls to discuss my platform if it pleases your CLP. I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Paul Clarkson

Hi, please can you help me. My housing association have recently changed heating engineers. I have had a problem with my heating for over a year now. The problem is the new company you have to call direct which is fine except you cannot get through to them. You are on hold constantly. The supervisors refuse to take calls. The advisors are borderline rude. I just want my heating and boiler to work correctly. I thank you in anticipation of you assistance.

Advice: brexit is not going to happen,I was a brexiteer I have changed my mind,I know many people have ,my reason was immigration, what now that does not matter, immigration will happen irrespective whether we in or out.So better to be in the club lots of countries still yearn to join.

Once we leave what happens if want to rejoin.

The idea of leaving has now appeared to everyone to be the wrong one.

It is like when you want to move to a new house and for some reason chain breaking or guzumbing or whatever reason, the old house is better than the new one.

If labour really want to win the next election, then labour needs to ask the country again whether to stay or leave, lot more are wiser and better informed than when everybody voted.

I want Labour to win, have voted Tory, because tony Blair and Gordon betrayed the working people taking away the 10pence tax thing.

Look if labour is serious, labour has the right to change its mind,as the majority of people growing daily basis want to stay in the EU.

So stop meeting about and join Nickla sturgeon in saying let’s have another vote from British people as things are mot what they were when the No vote took place.

Labour needs to be willing to stay in the EU as winds of change is here and coming,if staying in is in the best interest of all.

Please pass this to Jeremy and mr McDonald

Ps it is important for them to know what public option is from ordinary person, not a labour or Tory supporter, only a supporter for conditions for working people, poor people, disabled old and young whatever race or colour .

New slogan not sure if this has been used before.

Labour good luck.

I am not a party person or politically orientated althoughi have at leaning to labour but was spoilt by tony Blair and Gordon so voted in the tories,no regrets labour became out of touch ordinary person and arrogant.

By the way I do not want you to response with lecture,or reeducation of the rights of staying or leaving.i just want to say in now my family and I have changed our minds so have many,I think you know the ride has changed to now staying in.

I want labour to win,I want to hear in the news soon, yes labour revisit to yes/ no vote for EU and labour will side on staying in the EU.LABOUR shows some guts just di it,for a better Britain and Europe.

I have a problem 🙁

I have just been informed that I have to go on a work trip the day before the elections!

It’s 100 miles away from my home where I had intended to vote!

I’m registered.

Is there any way to overcome this problem?

I REALLY need to vote!

I have absolutely NO proxy.

I live in the UK on my own.

I have left a message for Fiona with my phone number but have had no reply.

A vote for Lib Dem is a vote for conservative.. The only way to remove a tory government is vote Labour

Dementia Tax

I just wanted to let you know that after the Conservative Manifesto outlining their plans to introduce the so called ‘Dementia Tax’ I will be switching my vote to the Liberal Democrats.

I think it is outrageous for people who have spent all their lifetime buying their house will have this asset taken away from their Estate to pay for social care in their old age. After discussions at work recently no one has said they will vote Conservative and are switching their votes to the Lib Dems or the Labour Party. Even people who were not going to vote and now going to vote just to try and remove this Conservative government.

I think there is very strong feelings about this and believe the Lib Dems and Labour Party need to keep this focus during the remaining few weeks of campaigning and there is a real change of the Conservatives losing.

Delighted that The Labour Party will get rid of tuition fees however what are the intentions for current students such as my sons who will graduate with around £50,000 of students loans that will still accrue interest. How is it fair that generations of students before them got free uni tuition ,generations in the further will get free education but their generartion will be left with massive debts? Look forward to hearing from you

So, who do I drop it off (in person) to?

I am very concerned that the husband of my niece, who was a musician before he had a severe stroke, is being asked to pay over a thousand for his care by social services in Exeter, although he is unable to work and has not worked since December 2016. His mother has left him and his brother a house, which has not sold due to subsidence, although repaired. They have no savings and have two teenage boys to feed & clothe; my niece is frantic as Social services is demanding payment now. Can you tell me where NHS starts and Social services takes over. I thought that he was an NHS patient ?

Good afternoon

I am contacting the Peterborough Labour Party to see whether Fiona Onasanya would be available to speak with, and answer questions from, our Sixth Form students prior to the General Election? These will be first-time voters, whom we actively encourage to register to vote.

Of course, we appreciate the weight of appointments which she will have over the next few weeks, but would like to welcome Fiona here to Nene Park Academy, if at all possible.

Ideally, if she were able to come to one of our Sixth Form assemblies, at 08:30 on either Thursday 18th or Thursday 25th May, this would enable us to engage as many students as possible. Alternatively, we could arrange this for 08:30 on other days of the week. We would have a slot of approximately half an hour available.

Many thanks in advance if you are able to facilitate such a visit.

Yours faithfully

Heather Smith

Sixth Form Student Support and UCAS Manager

In August 2016, the United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust (ULHT) announced that they would be closing the A&E Department at Grantham Hospital from 6.30pm to 9.00am. This was “temporary” but it is still closed. The Grantham Labour Party has condemned the closure, and opposes both ULHT and the Conservative government whose policies they are carrying out.

There will be a demonstration in support of Grantham Hospital on Saturday 25 February 2017. This one is organised by Fighting4Grantham Hospital (F4GH). While we have some disagreements over some of F4GH’s activities, we are supporting this march.

The march leaves St.Peter’s Hill at 11.00am. We want a big contingent from the local Labour Party, and we are meeting up by the big tree opposite the Isaac Newton Centre at 10.30am. You can just turn up on the day, but it would be helpful if I know in advance if you are coming. Bring your banner, if you have one.

Nearest car park, Welham Street.
