Central Ward News

Nazim Khan

Councillor Nazim Khan is concerned over the state of some of the roads in central Peterborough. He has also received complaints over the condition of some of the trees and shrubs in his ward.

He said "I'm pressing the Council to take action. We feel we are always at the bottom of the Council's work programme."

Central Ward councillors have used some of the ward's Community Fund to support an Awards Ceremony for successful school students and also to provide much needed funds for a senior citizens' group.

Labour believes that this is how the Community Fund should be used.
