Peterborough folk in protest over MP swimming pool expenses. On Saturday 13 June people called at the MPs second home, paid for by expenses claims, to seek his view on them using the pool. However he had police staff, at tax payers expense there to stop all callers. Anyway if and when we have them we will post pics of some Peterborough folk in the pool. Peterborough conservative councillors have not been looking after our environment locally. The hard work put into the Bretton Gate Spinney Woodland Project by local residents and children, which was encouraged by the council, has seen the same council cut down the carefully planted and nurtured trees. The council now admit that they had forgotten they had given planning permission for a road to be built through the site. With eight councillors, including the then cabinet member for the environment representing the area around Bretton Gate, how on earth did not one of them know what was going on....
